Our Story
Anti-piracy security solutions built from real experience, not theory.
Founded From Experience
Easi-Chock Ltd was founded in 2013 by Wayne Harrison, an ex-UK Special Forces and a Privately Contracted Armed Security Personnel (PCASP).
In October 2010, Wayne was part of an unarmed four man maritime security team that defended the MT Sichem Pandora from a Somali pirate, and due to their army doctrine, threat awareness and situational training the pirates never gained access to the crew who were unharmed and survived the ordeal. That experience became the foundation of everything Easi-Chock builds.
The products aren't designed in an office. They're designed by someone who has been in the situation they're built for. Every detail — the speed of deployment, the ease of crew training, the ability to disengage in seconds — comes from knowing what matters when it matters most.
Today, Easi-Chock Ltd has supplied over 700 vessels, protecting over 40,000 crew annually. The company is ISO 9001 certified, with products deployed across fleets operating in some of the world's most dangerous waters.
What We Do
We design, manufacture and supply physical anti-piracy security products that protect crew, cargo and vessels from piracy, armed robbery, kidnapping and violent attack.
Our products transform ordinary access points into reinforced barriers in seconds, turning a soft target into a much harder one. For owners and masters operating in high-risk areas, this kind of rapid, reliable hardening is one of the most cost-effective ways to reduce vulnerability to boarding.
Our products require no dry dock works, no hot works permits, no welding and no alteration to existing vessel designs. They're fitted by the crew and can be deployed or removed as the threat level changes.
All products complement BMP-recommended physical hardening measures and ISPS Code protective requirements. Our Vessel Hardening Plans have been approved and recommended by OCIMF since 2016.
We work with ship owners, ship management companies, private maritime security companies (PMSCs), P&I Clubs, ship's agents and ship's chandlers worldwide.
New Build — Financial Savings
We have been providing our equipment on new builds for over 10 years. Our solutions allow vessels to operate and transit any austere waters without fear of maritime criminality from day one.
SIRE audits approve our equipment, methodology and documentation. OCIMF approves and recommends our Vessel Hardening Plan.
All equipment is designed to be installed by the crew to save time and money, with a Supply Only option. We also offer a complete Supply & Install service — specific to the client's requirements.
